Hi, I’m Jake, founder of JC Jigs. Like many before me, I’ve
spent most of my life on the water, perfecting my skills
and seeking the best ways to catch big fish. After a trip
to Vanuatu, I realized something important: New Zealand
truly is the “land of milk and honey” — or as some call it, the
“Angler’s El Dorado”.

It was this revelation that inspired the birth of JC Jigs — a
brand born from the desire to find better ways to catch big
fish and to pass on the love of the water and adventure to our kids.

We have worked hard with professional anglers, charter skippers and free divers, combing our real word experience with science to find better ways to catch bigger fish.  We have had to find solutions to the many problems anglers have on the water and now we have it all. 

Our Jigs are more then just pretty painted bits of lead.  Our jigs use sound to attract fish from outside there visual range.  we use the most amazing proven eye popping uv glow colours and the Ghost Bait Assist Rig, a small swimming lure on our monster BFGK hook paired with 310kg kevlar assist cord.  Our lure paint is durable, and hooks wont bend and the assist cords are resilient and strong.
